I didn’t spend much time drawing today, but I did manage to put this little sketch together.

This is an idea for one of the many drawings I need to do for Two Young Captains. The simplicity of the drawing along with the spareness of the table highlight the need for proper study of a subject prior to drawing.

I could use a little more study and a few good ideas. What else belongs on a sea captains table?
