I went monochrome with this one because of a friend of mine who mentioned he was making acorn-cap ink. I recently made a batch of walnut ink to play with and decided this would be a good time to open the bottle and give it a try.

It’s a good thing I opened it when I did. The ink was starting to gel and needed some additional water. Working with this ink was difficult, at times, to get a dark color, but multiple layers later, I was happy with the depth I got out of it.
